My name is Ashley Ashman, I've been designing garments under the name A.L. Niceties since 2013 and I take pride in being a queer business owner with a passion for helping people feel comfortable in their own skin.

As a designer and artist I am compelled to provide Couture quality garments to people making average wages. Everyone deserves to feel that special feeling of luxury that comes with high quality garments. My garments are one of a kind. The silhouette can be recreated, but the details will never be the same, each one as unique as you.

 

Coming from a background of Historical Reproductions, I offer a unique mixture of vintage and innovative aesthetic. Pulling inspiration from as early as the Italian Renaissance and blending it with the fashion norms of today I create a classic, chic, and up-to-date style that can be flattering on anyone. The end goal is to create garments that are flattering on any figure by combing silhouette aspects from a variety of eras.

Additionally, I've been creating one of a kind looks for performers of all kinds from Actors and Renaissance Faire performers, to Dancers and Aerialists. Each performer has very specific needs for functionality while maintaining looks. I'll work with you to find the balance so you can present your best self on stage.
